Nestled in a valley surrounded by woods, this small village faces the Yonne that flows a few hundred meters away. The church of the XIII century is flanked by a square tower finished off with a turret.
An elegant mansion of the XV and XVI century leans against a hill in the valley of Faulin. The architecture is particularly interesting when looking at the defence wall flanked with towers, fortified gate, and wide ditch. It was used in several movies and was featured in some scenes of “La Grande Vadrouille”.
This is an ideal starting point for walks in the woods or along the canal Nivernais.
